Perfect Room Overview
A hemispheric camera enables 360 Degrees allround view and full image storage. This is the only way for a single camera to record the area shown in the clip, with all four corners. A user-friendly feature allows the image to be corrected both live and in recordings to eliminate distortion. Users can then view the relevant details more closely using the software-controlled virtual PTZ function.
Q24 - Virtual PTZ, Without Motor
The Q24M can zoom in on detail as well. These vPTZ functions are a standard feature in the integrated Q24M camera software. The image from the hemispheric camera can be enlarged using e.g. the mouse wheel, a joystick or a software-controlled PTZ panel, and you can "move" the view to any section of the image. This provides the features of a mechanical PTZ camera without the disadvantages of maintenance and wear.
One Camera, More Views (Quad View)
The surround view function of the Q24 (ceiling mounted) immediately replaces four conventional cameras and shows four different directions simultaneously in quad view on a monitor. Virtual PTZ is available for each of the four views.
Panorama 180 Degrees
Less Cameras Thanks To Panoramic Views
The perspective of the hemispheric image can also be transformed into an ultra-wide angle panoramic view spanning 180 Degrees if the camera is mounted on a wall, providing a wall-to-wall view of the room without any blind spots. It offers a substantially better view of the scene, compared to other cameras, it also results in the need for fewer cameras overall.
Panorama 180 Degrees: Subway Station
The Hemispheric Q24M mounted in a subway station delivers a 180 Degrees hires view of the complete station platform.
Full Image > Double Panorama
When ceiling mounted, one camera can also capture an entire room by two opposite panoramic views.
WALL MOUNT
The image corrected in the camera with panorama correction.
CEILING MOUNT
The full view from the ceiling.
From this image other views can be generated:
The 180 Degrees panorama image.
The double 180 Degrees panorama image facing two opposite walls.
The "Panorama Focus" view, consisting of a 180 Degrees panorama image and two focused scenes.
The surround view (quad view) focussing on four scenes at the same time.
Panorama Focus
Together with the 180 Degrees panorama the Q24 can deliver two more views simultaneously, making it possible to see the overview and to focus on two scenes at the same time (Display Mode "Panorama Focus").
