We welcome Keywest Technology as one of our
newest product lines.
Keywest Technology,
a world leader in the design, manufacturing and marketing
of digital video processing equipment, is dedicated to the
proposition that the time customers spend installing and
using video equipment should be like a day at the beach.
Founded in 1999 with professional television
roots stretching back to 1979, Keywest Technology recognized
early on, that the transition from analog to digital video
using network technology was helping to propel an unprecedented
expansion of the video industry and that a whole new group
of customers, who weren’t necessarily engineering-oriented,
were turning to video as a communications solution.
This transition meant that the vendor who
could best design and market products that are easy-to-use
and simple to set up -while simultaneously delivering all
the features and performance that the most demanding video
professional could desire- would have a tremendous leg up
in the market. With that goal in mind, Keywest Technology
set its course.
“Keywest Technology’s goal,” says company
president Nick Nichols, “is nothing less than to be the
premiere source for superbly engineered video products that
are elegant in design, simple to install and use and easy
on the wallet.”
“Whether it’s our IT powered TV messaging
systems or one or our digital video processors, Keywest
Technology offers world-class solutions at real-world prices.”
Among Keywest Technology’s many market offerings,
most notable is the complete line of networked TV messaging
products marketed as the MediaXtreme™ series. This family
of products provides flexible, fully featured information
channel generators that include multimedia video messaging,
crawls, and channel ID with options covering many applications.
The VooDoo Series (Big and Little) includes several in-line
and stand-alone A-to-D and D-to-A converters, 8 and 10-bit
time base corrector/frame synchronizers, picture-in-picture
video inserters. One special application product (LVLAN)
allows any RS-232 device to be connected over a TCP/IP connection
and controlled anywhere in the world.
Keywest Technology also offers contract
engineering for video design and application integration
to dealers and manufacturers. The company’s services include
broadcast video design, prototyping, layout, system integration,
and training. Past projects include contracts with large
manufacturers like Carotek, Inc., an expert in mechanical
and electrical integration of automated processing systems,
as well as the U.S. Navy, and smaller companies that needed
short run products. |
